My rescued chair

before

after

I rescued this beauty from a life unfulfilled in a landfill. It has really good bones and is sturdy. A new seat, cushion, and a little paint. Now she's all pretty again. The material I had (from a yard sale),  a free piece of wood (thank you Rick!), and some spray paint. The most expensive thing was the cushion ($6.00 at Walmart). I am very happy with the end result! Goes quite nicely in my new craft room, I might add. See ,you should never judge a book by it's cover or a chair by it's lack of a seat. Have you rescued anything and fixed it up lately? I love to refurbish things! Try it! Have a really sweet weekend! Maybe have a cupcake or a blizzard.

  2. It looks fabulous! Well done. I love rescuing things but the last thing I hauled off the curb was a wicker chair and table that we have repainted for my Mom. Still looking for a cushion for it though.

    1. Thank you! I have a small table waiting for my next project. Have you tried recovering a cushion you already have? I hope you find the perfect match for her.
